DAY 9 – 10
After a leisure morning and breakfast enjoy your final morning at your hotel
Transfer from Lodge to airport for your flight to Johannesburg
Meet & Greet on arrival. Transfer to your hotel in Pretoria for overnight stay

DAY 10 – 11
Early morning check- out and transfer to the Blue Train Rail Station
07:30 Register and check-in at The Pretoria Station. Guests are boarded directly to the train. Guests enjoy pre-departure snacks and drinks onboard.
08:30 The Blue Train departs from Pretoria.
10:30 – 12:30 First sitting for Brunch.
12:30 – 14:30 Second sitting for Brunch.
15:30 High tea is served in the Lounge Car.
17:10 The Blue Train arrives at Kimberley Station.
Guests disembark and assemble at the railway museum, from where they will be ushered to a bus, which transfers them to the Kimberley Open Mine Museum.
17:45 Guests arrive at the Open Mine Museum for a tour of the mine.
Guests are first taken to view interesting and historical sites. Guests are also taken onto an enclosed ramp on the edge of the Kimberly hole.
18:35 Guests depart from the Open Mine Museum for Kimberley Station.
At Kimberley Station guests are greeted with a glass of sherry. The sherry glass engraved with The Blue Train logo is a memento for guests to keep.
19:05 The Blue Train departs Kimberley Station for the journey Southbound to Cape Town.
After this exciting tour, guests are free to refresh themselves and enjoy pre-dinner drinks served at any one of our lounges. Remember, dinner is an elegant affair and men are requested to wear a jacket and tie and ladies elegant evening wear.

DAY 2: (NEXT MORNING)
07:30 – 10:00 Breakfast is served on a first come first serve basis.
Breakfast can also be served in-suite at the guests’ request.

15:00 The Blue Train arrives at Cape Town / Pretoria Station.

- 13.00: Table Mountain & City Tour Half Day
The Highlights of this half day tour includes a visit to the summit of Table Mountain, South Africa’s prominent landmark, on an aerial cableway (The cableway ticket is not included. Visits to the summit of Table Mountain are weather permitting). Other notable sites and stops include the Malay Quarter, city centre, Company Gardens and time permitting, the Castle of Good Hope. Guests enjoy a brief overview of South Africa’s Mother City from the shores of the Atlantic and the heights of iconic Table Mountain. Photographers have panoramic views of Table Mountain from the foothills of Table Bay and the nearby Cape Town Diamond Works.
- 08.30: Cape Winelands Tour Full Day
The world-renowned Cape Winelands are situated about an hour’s drive from Cape Town. This tour takes you through the premier wine-producing regions of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. As well as fantastic wines, you can expect scenery that will take your breath away. Each region is characterised by stunning rugged mountain ranges and picturesque valleys with vineyards and estates dotted along the charming wine routes. You will enjoy a cellar tour, and wine-tastings at three top wine estates before embarking on a tour through the historic town of Stellenbosch where much of the original Cape-Dutch architecture has been beautifully preserved.
- 07.30: Cape Point Tour Full Day
Cape Town is built on a mountainous peninsula. This full day tour is an ideal way to see the highlights of the city. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard with its white beaches and rugged mountains to Hout Bay. If time permits, there is the option of taking a half hour boat trip to Duiker Island to see a Cape Fur Seal colony (for own account). If open, continue on Chapman’s Peak Drive, noted as one of the most stunning roadways in the world. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated travelers for centuries. The return journey to Cape Town takes guests along the False Bay coast with the option of visiting the colony of rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach (for own account). Guests will pass through the naval village of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. Visit the internationally-acclaimed Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden before returning to the hotel.
