DAY 1 Johannesburg
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Airport, you’ll be met & assisted to your shuttle transfer service to the hotel. Meet for a briefing session in your hotel.

DAY 2 Johannesburg – Mpumalanga
Morning departure for Mpumalanga, travelling along the Panorama Route, visiting Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes & God’s Window.
Overnight in Hazyview (B).
DAY 3 Kruger National Park
Early departure for Kruger National Park in closed touring vehicle with a packed breakfast. The Kruger Park supports the largest variety of wildlife species on the African continent.
Spend the morning in search of the “Big Five” before returning to your hotel for lunch (for own account). Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

DAY 4 Mpumalanga – Swaziland
After breakfast depart for Swaziland.
Afternoon visit to a Chief’s Village to learn more about the Swazi culture. Lunch en route (for own account).

DAY 5 Swaziland – Zululand
Journey through Swaziland into Zululand, stopping en route to view curios & souvenirs at roadside markets.
Arrive at your hotel in the Umfolozi area for overnight. (B)
DAY 6 Zululand – Durban
Morning at leisure or enjoy an optional (for own account) boat cruise, before departing to Durban.
On arrival in Durban an orientation tour will introduce you to this seaside city, before arriving at the hotel for overnight. (B)
DAY 7 Durban – Drakensberg
After breakfast head for the Southern Drakensberg Mountains.
Visit the 300 feet Howick Falls, continuing through the Southern Midlands Meander Route, arriving at the hotel mid-afternoon. Remainder of the day is at leisure. (BD)
DAY 8 Drakensberg
Full day at leisure to enjoy the surroundings of the magnificent Southern Drakensberg Mountains. (BD)
DAY 9 Drakensberg – Eastern Cape Coast
After breakfast continue south to East London.
Stop at Umtata to visit the area where Nelson Mandela was born & grew up.
Arrive in Chintsa East for dinner and overnight. (BD)
DAY 10 Eastern Cape Coast – Port Elizabeth
After a leisurely breakfast and some free time, depart for Port Elizabeth.
On arrival in Port Elizabeth, the remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

DAY 11 Port Elizabeth – Knysna
This morning the tour continues with a visit to the Tsitsikamma Forest & a short walk to Storms River Mouth. Arrive in Knysna. Remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. (BD)
DAY 12 Knysna – Oudtshoorn – Mossel Bay
After breakfast travel over the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, the “feather capital of the world”.
Visit the famous Cango Caves & an ostrich farm.
Arrive in Mossel Bay for overnight. (B)
DAY 13 Mossel Bay – Cape Town
After breakfast, travel to Albertinia, for a visit to a well-known aloe factory. The tour continues via Hermanus (during the whale season August – November) alternatively travel via Swellendam, Robertson and Worcester.
Arrive in Cape Town for overnight. (B)
DAY 14 Cape Town (Unescorted)
Full day at leisure in Cape Town to explore the “Mother City”. Overnight in Cape Town. (B)
DAY 15 Cape Town (Unescorted)
After breakfast check out of hotel by 11h00 after which the remainder of the day will be under your own arrangements
