We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and holiday at the Victoria Beachcomber Resort and Spa in Mauritius. Edrice at Journeys & Africa was wonderful at helping us organise the wedding, flights and accommodation for ourselves, and several of our guests from both Australia and the UK. She even helped avoid a mini flight disaster (cancelled flights due to union actions), making sure that my mother could get to Mauritius in time and not miss out on valuable pre wedding family time. The wedding coordinator, Marisa, from Victoria Beachcomber, was friendly, informative and does an amazing job of lacing up a wedding dress! She made sure that the day ran smoothly, accommodated for our vegan guest and was a calming influence to us both on the big day. The wedding set-up was simple but beautiful and the bridal bouquet was gorgeous. For others planning to marry here, we highly recommend the hotels wedding photographer, who made even a very camera shy bride feel comfortable. We would would also suggest that you use the hotel videographer, who managed to capture all those other moments and produced a lovely, professional looking keepsake movie of the day.
