Zambezi Cruise & Safaris is one of the largest privately-owned cruise boat company on Lake Kariba. Boasting a unique fleet of vessels which are all furnished to a high standard with their own individual themes, all cabins are air conditioned and en suite, lounge/dining areas and either a pool or jacuzzi whilst showcasing stunning views of the lake.

Our friendly and well-trained crew on board all our vessels are knowledgeable offering local guiding and hosting.  They will explain the history of the lake, identify wildlife and share points of interest, all to ensure that you will have a truly memorable experience.

Our cuisine is fresh and includes a selection of traditional and seasonal dishes.  A wide selection of local beverages and imported South African wines are included. Our onboard chefs freshly prepare every meal and are more than happy to include your OWN catch of the day!

Day 1 :
Day 1

<p>Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport or collected from your Victoria Falls hotel, by a Zambezi Cruise & Safaris representative. We start our journey to Hwange National Park, which is a 2 hour trip. After check in at the lodge or camp, we visit the Painted Dog Conservation’s Rehabilitation Centre and enjoy a sundowner game drive on our way back to camp.</p>

Day 2 :

<p>An exciting full-day excursion into Hwange National Park with picnic lunch is planned.</p>

Day 3 :
Day 3

<p>Say goodbye to Hwange and start our journey to Binga to begin our three night Lake Kariba cruise. The transfer will take approx. two and a half to three hours – making our way through an extremely remote and rural part of the southern Zambezi Escarpment. We end the day with a relaxing cruise with drink in hand back to the main vessel as the sun sets. Dinner is served on board.</p>

Day 4 :
Day 4

<p>A light continental breakfast will be served before setting off on our morning activities of game viewing and birding. We return to the vessel for a freshen up and lunch on board as we cruise through the Chete Gorge and into the Hondwa Bay. Evening sundowners and snacks are served as we watch another incredible Kariba sunset before heading back to the main vessel. Dinner this evening will be a relaxing beach braai (barbeque Zimbabwean style) around a campfire under the African night sky</p>

Day 5 :

<p> Morning activities as above or an optional guided nature walk of approximately 2 hours before making our way back to the main vessel and lunch as we cruise onto Elephant Bay. An afternoon to relax on board during this 5-6 hour cruise. Our last evening sundowner on this majestic ‘inland sea’ gives us the opportunity to witness an uninterrupted view across the Lake to the mountains of Zambia and probably one of the best sunsets in Africa</p>

Day 6 :

<p>We say goodbye to Binga and after a five and a half hour scenic journey we arrive back in Victoria Falls. In the evening – transport will take us to the The Boma – Dinner and Drum Show where we’ll revel in a ‘feast of fun’ – a buffet dinner, spirited dance performance and interactive drum show </p>

Day 7 :
Day 7

<p>A relaxing breakfast followed by a tour with our guide to the Victoria Falls. After our tour of the Falls, we head back for some curio shopping and lunch either in town or at one of the restaurants on the banks of the Zambezi River.</p><p>Our farewell dinner amongst our new found friends will be at a boutique restaurant in town before heading back to the hotel for a well deserved good night’s sleep, in preparation for our onward journey in Africa or home.</p>

Day 8 :

<p>Breakfast at the hotel before we say our final farewell’s and onward transfer to Victoria Falls International</p>
